~ Press release issued Wednesday, March 25 by the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce
The Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce (L-PCCC) and Visitor Center continues to closely monitor the emergence of COVID-19. First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and take preventive measures to protect the health of Chamber members, visitors, employees and Page County residents.
Following the orders of the Governor of Virginia, the L-PCCC Chamber-Visitor Center is extending our closure date through Thursday, April 23.
This closure includes the Train Museum and public restrooms, and the cancellation of all meetings scheduled for the Chamber/Visitor Center boardroom.
Additionally, no Chamber-sponsored events will occur during this time. These decisions will be reevaluated on Wednesday, April 22, in the hope that we will be able to reopen and greet guests in person.
During this time, we are encouraging visitors to go to our Website and Facebook page for current information on happenings in Page County.
The Luray-Page Chamber of Commerce employees will be on hand, in the office, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer emails and phone calls at (540) 743-3915.
We will place brochure stands just outside the offices out of the weather for visitors to pick up. Our L-PCCC employees will keep these stands stocked with our visitor guides and information about Page County.
As your Chamber of Commerce, we are here to support the local business community and ask for your patience as we all work through this difficult time together. We encourage our Chamber members, now more than ever, to continue to support each other and our Page County community.
