Stingray Families,

We are so SORRY for all of the registration updates. We are confident this update will be the last one.

As we shared on our Facebook page yesterday evening, the Shenandoah County Swim League, Inc.’s board of directors met yesterday evening, mandating changes to each team’s registration procedures.

You may be asking the following questions…

1. Will the Stanley Stingrays Swim Team move to an online registration?
Yes! The Stanley Stingrays Swim Team will post a link to the Google Form on their Facebook page next Tuesday, March 31, 2020 beginning at 5 p.m.. Please ensure you submit the Google Form upon completion in order to record your response.

2. Is my swimmer guaranteed a spot on the team?
No, the Stanley Stingrays Swim Team is open to swimmers in the Towns of Rileyville, Luray, Stanley and Shenandoah, ages 4 to 18. The Google Form will go live at 5 p.m. The first 90 registration forms submitted will be guaranteed a spot on the team. DO NOT wait until the last minute. There will be a waiting list above and beyond 90 swimmers.

3. What if I have questions about the Google Form as I am filling it out?
Valerie, Lauren and Corey will be online to answer any questions or concerns from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. that evening. A link will be provided on our Facebook Page for parents and guardians to join an online conferencing service called Zoom. Team representatives will be available online to answer any questions that you may have as you are registering your swimmer(s) during this time.

4. What if I do not have internet access?
No problem at all. Call one of the following team representatives from 5 to 8 p.m. next Tuesday, March 31, 2020. They will be happy to register your swimmer(s) on the phone.

Valerie Ferrell: (540) 742-2953

Lauren Reed: (770) 354-8160

Pazley Hilliard: (540) 476-0168

Annetta Martz: (540) 843-4008

5. Do I have to pay the $65/$60 registration fee at this time?
No. We can not collect registration fees until the Shenandoah County Swim League, Inc.’s board of directors reconvenes on Monday, April 27, 2020.

We are committed to keeping our future Stingray families healthy and safe. Thank you for your understanding.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Let’s make history. Let’s be the first team to reach our 90-swimmer capacity during our inaugural season.
