SHENANDOAH, Oct. 21 — Page County High School senior running back Ty Davis put up 180 yards and three touchdowns Friday night against Mountain View on Senior Night at Buddy Comer Stadium. With 17 carries, Davis averaged 10.6 yards per carry on a night when PCHS honored 15 seniors with a 64-26 Bull Run District victory.
Fellow seniors, Brett Paul Campbell, Gunnar Strickler and Stephon Hawkins accounted for second half touchdowns, as the Panthers scored three times in each of the final quarters. Senior Hayden Plum transitioned back to quarterback and hit Campbell for a 50-yard touchdown pass just before halftime. Hawkins racked up 115 yards, including a 75-yard sprint to the end zone late in the game.
The Panthers (3-5) will travel to Strasburg (7-1) Friday night before concluding the regular season at home by hosting Clarke (6-2) on Nov. 4.
