Age 71, Timberville, Va.
Donald Wayne Long, 71, of Timberville, Va., died on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
He was born on Aug. 18, 1950, in Harrisonburg and was a son of the late Merrill Long and Louise Sites Long.
Mr. Long grew up in Rockingham County and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by a daughrter, Lynn Strickler of Luray; a son, Randall “Randy” Long of Luray; a sister, Sheree Long of Timberville; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Long, Stanley Long and Richard Bowen.
He was cremated, and there will be no service.
