Age 90, Luray, Va.
Charles Eugene “Gene” Cook, 90, of Luray, Va., died on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.
He was born on July 30, 1931, in Luray and was a son of the late Jacob Cook and Nellie Nichols Cook.
Mr. Cook was a member of the New Life Gospel Church.
His wife, Erma Lee Seal Cook, died on April 7, 1978. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Pete, Leon, Jesse and Shannon Cook; and three sisters, Dolly Gochenour, Margaret Morris and Beulah Johnson.
Services are planned for a later date.
