Dorothy “Dot” Lee Dodson Baldwin passed away peacefully at her home in Luray on Monday, May 25, 2026.
She was born on December 29, 1949, in Sperryville to the late Lester and Kathleen Dodson.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Richard Baldwin Jr.
She is survived by her two children, Thomas Richard “Richie” Baldwin III (Linda) of Sperryville, and Samantha Fringer (Mike) of Luray. Additional survivors include four granddaughters, Katherine “Katie” Baldwin Jenkins (Gary), Lily Baldwin, Sara Baldwin, and Caidence Baldwin; one great-grandson, Theodore Thomas Jenkins; and her best friend, Laurie Wayland.
Dot spent many years pampering friends and family at her in-home beauty shop. She also had a great passion for cooking and loved sharing meals with those she cared about.
A private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bradley Funeral Home.
