STANLEY, June 17 — The Stanley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a farm machinery fire at about 3:42 p.m. on Wednesday along Mattie View Drive.
Units arrived on scene to find a hay baler fully involved along with a small field fire. The operator was able to disconnect the tractor safely.
Engine 24, Brush 24, Tanker 24 and 12 volunteer firefighters responded to the fire. Stanley Police Department, and Page County Fire-EMS assisted.
