May 12, 1887 — An enterprise like the Luray Mills Co., which has made such a large investment of capital in a home enterprise, for which we all plead so much, should have not only the kind words of our people, but the practical support.
Its public-spirited proprietors have spared no expense in putting in the best machinery for the manufacture of high- grade flour, and all who have ever used it testify to the fact that they do make it.
The mill was put in operation about two years ago, and we are glad to know that it has all the time been steadily increasing in public favor. Their flour in that time has gained a reputation second to none made anywhere.
The success of the mill is an assured fact.
