October 2, 1986 — Several Page County residents participated in activities of the first national Graves family reunion last weekend at the Quality Inn Arlington Hotel.

The Graves Family Association is headed by Kenneth Vance Graves of Wrentham, Mass.

The Graves family is one of the oldest families in America. Capt. Thomas Graves came to Jamestown in 1608 and other Graves settlers arrived in New England and elsewhere in the 1600s or later.

At this reunion there were 16 states and Ontario, Canada, represented.
