Grand jury indicts seven individuals on 22 charges

LURAY, Jan. 8 — Members of a grand jury in Page County Circuit Court issued a true bill on a total of 22 indictments handed down Wednesday, Jan. 8 on charges placed among seven individuals.
Those indicted by the January 8 grand jury include:
• Dorsel Nathaniel Knight, of Temple Hills, Md., was indicted on eight Class 4 felonies related to the forging of public records and employing those records as true, and two Class 1 misdemeanors for falsely identifying himself to law enforcement and identity theft (obtaining ID to avoid arrest). All 10 offenses and an arrest occurred on November 3, 2024, according to court records. Knight is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 for a hearing.
• Derrell Eugene Fedrick, of Roanoke, Va., was indicted on three Class 5 felonies for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a Class 1 misdemeanor for driving while his operator’s license was revoked or suspended. All offenses and an arrest occurred on June 5, 2024 , according to court records. Fedrick is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 for a hearing.
• Joseph Quinn Lake, of Grottoes, Va. was indicted on an unclassified felony for the manufacture and/or distribution of a Schedule I/II drug (third or subsequent offense) and a Class 6 felony for felony possession of a weapon (ammunition, not gun). Both offenses occurred on June 4, 2024, according to court records, with arrests on June 5, 2024 (weapon possession) and June 8, 2024 (drug manufacture/distribution). Lake is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025 for a hearing.
• Kendall Marie Blake Via, of (no address listed), was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, a Class 1 misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated (DWI – drugs, second offense), and a Class 1 misdemeanor for failure to stop at the scene of an accident with more than $500 in damages. All offenses and an arrest occurred on August 22, 2024, according to court records. Via is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025 for a hearing.
• Robert Charles Atkins, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on August 3, 2024, according to court records, with an arrest on October 7, 2024. Atkins is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 for a hearing.
• Donald Wayne Buracker II, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on October 11, 2024. Buracker is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 for a hearing.
• Tyler Garrett Printz, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on September 30, 2024, according to court records, with an arrest on October 1, 2024. Printz is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 for a hearing.
Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
