LURAY, Jan. 13 — A Page County grand jury handed down 57 indictments among 29 individuals during last Wednesday’s Jan. 6th session in Page County Circuit Court , including:
• Kevin Robert Flynn, of Boston, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for soliciting an individual under the age of 18 for pornographic material, and four unclassified felony counts for sex-related offenses involving a minor. The offenses occurred on five different dates between Sept. 4, 2019 and June 24, 2020, according to court documents. The arrest date was listed as July 24, 2020. The case was filed in circuit court on Dec. 22, 2020 with indictments issued Jan. 6. The case is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 23 for further proceedings.
• Theresa Mae Cowens, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 3 felony for malicious wounding that occurred on Sept. 28, 2020. She was arrested Oct. 1, 2020 and will return to court on Jan. 27 for further proceedings.
• Tenika Desire Clark, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 3 felony for malicious wounding, and two Class 1 misdemeanors for assault and battery and destruction of property with intent (valued at less than $1,000). The offenses occurred on Sept. 28, 2020, according to court documents, with an arrest date of Sept. 30, 2020. Clark is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 20 for further proceedings.
• Johnny Levarne Whittaker, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 6 felony for strangling/wounding with injury results, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for assault and battery. The offense and arrest occurred on Oct. 24, 2020, according to court documents. A follow-up court date was not yet listed.
• Jason Allen Petefish, of Luray, was indicted on two Class 6 felonies for child abuse, disregard of life and possession of a gun while in possession of a Schedule I/II drug, which produced a third felony indictment for possession with intent to sell or distribute for profit. The offense and arrest date is listed as July 12, 2019, according to court documents. No future court date was listed at this time.
• Terry Morris Dovel, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 6 felony for receiving stolen goods and aiding in concealing a firearm; an unclassified felony for receiving or buying stolen goods valued at more than $200; and a Class 1 misdemeanor for being a person subject to a protection order and buying a gun. The offense and arrest date was listed as May 7, 2020, according to court documents. Dovel is scheduled to appear in court next on Feb. 10 for further proceedings.
• Michael Shawn Johnson, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 5 felony for proposing sex by computer with an individual under the age of 15, and on a Class 6 felony for failing to register as a violent sex offender. The offense date for both charges is listed as Jan. 18, 2020 with an arrest date for both of Jan. 23, 2020. Johnson is scheduled to appear in court next on Feb. 23 for further proceedings.
• Kenneth Scott Breeden Jr., of Luray, was indicted on a Class 6 felony for failing to register as a violent sex offender. The offense occurred on Aug. 15, 2020, according to court documents, with an arrest date of Sept. 16, 2020. Breeden is scheduled to appear in court next on Feb. 10 for further proceedings.
• Bobby Samuel Lam Jr., of Stanley, was indicted on four felony counts, including an unclassified felony for the nonviolent felony possession of a gun within 10 years, two Class 5 felonies for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 6 felony for eluding or disregarding police. The firearm and drug offenses occurred on May 27, 2020 while the eluding charge is listed as happening on May 30, 2020 — the same as the arrest date. Lam is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 17 for further proceedings.
• Zachary Matthew Hensley, of Elkton, was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, two Class 1 misdemeanors for unauthorized possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a revoked or suspended license, and a Class 2 misdemeanor for failure to stop/eluding police. One of the drug charges and the paraphernalia charge show an offense and arrest date of Nov. 3, 2019. The other charges are listed with an offense date and an arrest date of Aug. 10, 2019. Hensley is scheduled to appear in court again on Jan. 27 for further proceedings.
• Robert James Pizza, of Shenandoah, was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, two Class 2 misdemeanors for possession of a Schedule IV drug, and an unclassified misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (first offense). The offenses are listed as occurring on Sept. 21, 2019 with arrests on that date, as well as Aug. 25, 2020. No further court dates were listed yet in the case.
• Amy Sue Berry, of Shenandoah, was indicted on three counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). Court documents indicate that the offenses took place on March 7, 2020; Aug. 2, 2020; and Nov. 10, 2019 — with arrest dates of March 7, 2020; Aug. 3, 2020; and Aug. 5, 2020; respectively. On Jan. 6, along with three felony indictments, Berry also received three Class 1 misdemeanor charges for failure to appear in court. Berry is scheduled to appear in court again on Jan. 27 for further proceedings.
• Jason Leon McGoniagal, of Stanley, was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 6 felony for eluding or disregarding police (second offense). The offense and arrest date listed for both charges was June 3, 2020. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 17 for further proceedings.
• William Thomas Montley Jr., of Shenandoah, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony) and for driving while under a revoked or suspended license (Class 1 misdemeanor). The offense and arrest date for both offenses is listed as Jan. 2, 2020. He was scheduled to appear again in court on Jan. 13.
• Crystal Starr Stoneberger, of Luray, was indicted on two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offenses occurred on May 11, 2020 and June 3, 2020 — with the arrest date for both listed as Sept. 16, 2020. No further court dates were listed yet in the case.
• Heather Nicole Knight, of Stanley, was issued a direct indictment for an unclassified felony for the distribution or sale for profit of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred Aug. 18, 2020. No arrest date was listed. She is scheduled to appear in court again on April 21 for further proceedings.
• Raymond Eugene Vest, of Dayton, Va. was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on Jan. 3, 2020, with an arrest date of Sept. 25, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Emily Ann Thompson, of Luray, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense and arrest occurred on June 28, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Richard Eugene Culver, of Rileyville, was indicted on two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offenses occurred on May 15, 2020 and May 22, 2020 with arrest dates of Sept. 26, 2020 and May 22, 2020, respectively. He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 10 for further proceedings.
• Matthew Ryan Breeden, of Elkton, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense and arrest occurred on Feb 20, 2020. He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 10 for further proceedings.
• Angela Marie Bolyard, of Stanley, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on June 16, 2020 with an arrest date of Sept. 25, 2020. She is scheduled to appear in court again on Jan. 20 for further proceedings.
• Troy Christopher Bentley, of Luray, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on June 12, 2020 with an arrest date of Oct. 29, 2020. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 10 for further proceedings.
• Jesus Samuel Nevarez-Gonzalez, of Harrisonburg, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense and arrest occurred on Feb. 4, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Tylor Nelson Parcell, of Stanley, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on May 16, 2019 with an arrest date of March 11, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Sarah W. Rinaca, of Stanley, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on Oct. 22, 2019 with an arrest date of Aug. 30, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Samantha Dawn Runyon, of Shenandoah, was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II drug (Class 5 felony). According to court documents, the offense occurred on Oct. 30, 2019 with an arrest date of Oct. 5, 2020. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Sara Ann Richter (no address listed) was issued a direct indictment on an unclassified felony for the distribution or sale of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Jan. 23, 2020, according to court documents, with no arrest date listed. The next court date in the case was not listed.
• Kenneth Wayne Knowles, of Luray, was indicted on a Class 6 felony for the unauthorized use of a vehicle and larceny of a value greater than or equal to $200. The offense took place on Aug. 23, 2020 with an arrest date of Sept. 7, 2020. He is scheduled to appear in court again on April 21.
• Ronald Clee Dishong, of Luray, was indicted on an unclassified felony for driving after being declared an habitual offender. The offense occurred on May 28, 2020 with an arrest date of Sept. 5, 2020 listed in court documents. He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 10 for further proceedings.
