A local pastor holds up a human skull and proclaims to the crowd: “We recognize it as human, not as a color.”
The pastor was one of more than a dozen clergymen and speakers at the June 4 prayer meeting at West Luray Rec Center, where more than 100 gathered to peacefully speak out against police violence and build a sense of community.
