James Timothy “Tim” Long Sr., 60, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Page Memorial Hospital.
Tim was born on Feb. 4, 1961, in Washington, D.C., and was a son of James Long of Luray and the late Betty Waters.
He owned and operated Tim’s Vending Service.
Surviving in addition to his father are a son, James “J.T.” Long II of Stanley; two daughters, Amber Long of Maryland, and Ashley Long of Georgia; two sisters, Julie Weaver and husband Dewayne of Luray, and Lisa Cubbage and husband Woody of Stanley; a niece, Taylor McCoy and husband Keith; two nephews, Adam Cubbage and wife Molly, and Tyler Weaver and wife Brittany; and two great nieces, Bexlynn and Cora Weaver.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Adam Cubbage and the Rev. Donnie Sherfey. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 7, at the funeral home.
Due to COVID-19, facial coverings and social distancing restrictions will be followed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
