May 6, 1965 — A new recreational development in the Egypt Bend section of the county, west of the Shenandoah River, has been announced by George Bauserman.

Titled the Egypt Bend Estates, the development is offering lots to persons interested in building river cabins and homes.

Bauserman says that 30 lots have already been developed on the 180-acre tract. Streets have been laid out and water lines located for the developed lots.

The property is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Willis M. Bowman, of Shenandoah County.

It has a long frontage on the Shenandoah River, where boat ramps are being built and other conveniences arranged.
