Jewel Denise Hagedorn Carter, 61, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
She was born on December 3, 1961, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, and was a daughter of Ron Hagedorn and the late Dorothy Tauge Hagedorn.
On November 14, 1981, Jewel married Ronnie Carter, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her father and her husband are three daughters, Tasha Carter of Springfield, MO, Ashley Carter of Luray, and Brandy Cook of Pea Ridge, AR; two sisters, Crystal Hagedorn, of Kissimmee, FL, and Gina Hagedorn of Colorado; two brothers, Mark Hagedorn and Paul Hagedorn, both of Kansas; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
