Age 90, Luray, Va.
Joe Junior Printz, 90, of Luray, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.
He was born on September 5, 1933, in Luray and was a son of the late Arthur C. Printz and Florence E. Abbott Printz.
Joe was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1956-1958. He retired from Wrangler with 35 years of service and was a member of the Luray Church of the Brethren.
His wife, Margie Irene Calhoun Printz, died on July 10, 1999.
Joe is survived by a sister, Christine Redmon of Bentonville; and a brother, James C. Printz of Rileyville. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Elmo Printz, Virgil Leo Printz and Kenneth C. Printz; four sisters, Minnie Helen Printz, M. Elizabeth Gile, Charlotte Dowd and Mary P. Shaffer; and his special companion, Juanita Christophine “Chris” Goode.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8, at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
