RICHMOND, Feb. 15 — Earlier this month, the Center for Rural Virginia announced that Luray native and former delegate, Allen Louderback, was appointed to the Center’s Board of Trustees by former Speaker of the House of Delegates Todd Gilbert in December 2023. Louderback was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates in the Virginia General Assembly, where he served three terms from 2000 to 2006.
Since 2020, Louderback has represented District 2 on the Page County Board of Supervisors, where he also previously held this role from 1992 to 2000. He is the founder and has served as president of Louderback Enterprises, LLC, a real estate development company, since 1998.
“We are pleased to have [former] Delegate Louderback as a member of the Center for Rural Virginia Board of Trustees”, said Kristie Proctor, Executive Director of the Center for Rural Virginia. “His interests in rural issues including economic development, transportation, housing, workforce development, conserving our natural resources, and others are core to the mission and work of the Center.”
“I look forward to addressing the real, day-to-day challenges that face our rural communities and getting to work to be sure that rural Virginia has a seat at the table to continue to grow and thrive,” Louderback said.
