Age 76, Rileyville, Va.
Maria Annette “Ann” Harvey Darnell, 76, of Rileyville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
She was born on November 14, 1946, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Warder O. Harvey and Mary Loring Miller Harvey.
Maria worked for Page Valley Bank, Jordan Hollow Farms and Southern States. She was a member of the Rileyville Gospel Church.
On September 20, 1970, Maria married Steve Darnell, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Anthony E. Darnell of Rileyville; a daughter, Jennifer Headman and husband Chris of Luray; two brothers, Timothy C. Harvey and Warder M. “Buzzy” Harvey, both of Luray; a grandson, Thomas William Weaver of Charlottesville; and a granddaughter, Kristen Maria Weaver of Luray.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Beahm; and a brother, Phillip Harvey.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, at the Rileyville Gospel Church by Pastor Donnie Lam.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church in her memory.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
