Age 61, Las Vegas, Nev.
Mark Randal “Randy” Bowman, 61, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, while in Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born February 23, 1959, in Waynesboro, Pa., to Joseph R. Bowman Sr. and M. Patricia Bowman.
Randy grew up in Luray and loved the outdoors. He especially loved the water and spent many hours fishing and swimming in the Shenandoah River. He also loved playing in the snow as a child and driving in the snow as an adult. He had an infectious and charming smile and loved people.
He moved to Las Vegas, Nev., and became a real estate broker. He owned a property management company and co-owned a successful real estate company. He also was a TV host of the “Home Sweet Home” Las Vegas Real Estate Show.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Patricia Bowman of Luray; his three brothers, Rick Bowman of Middletown, Pa., and Bobby and Gary Bowman of Luray; his sister, Linda Bristor of Luray; his daughter, Jennifer Bowman Laud of Rock Island, Ill.; four grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; and his long-time devoted companion, Brenda Sands Levitan.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020, from 7-8 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. A private memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Kathy Yoder.
Randy’s genuine smile and zest for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
