Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality!
This is Archie!
Archie is 2 years old and was unfortunately never reclaimed by his previous owner. He is a very sweet boy who came in already knowing his basic commands like sit and give paw. For a bonus, he is fairly house trained as well, but he would need to have a little bit more training to be fully house broken.
A day in the life of Archie starts off with some yummy morning food and a potty break while his kennel is getting cleaned. Afterwards, he gets to go outside for play and potty time every other hour, so he can play and stretch out his long legs. When he is done with his business, he likes to bark at the door to let you know he is ready to come back inside.
Archie is the rare breed of dog who doesn’t care for any kinds of toys and would rather just have your one-on-one attention, which isn’t a bad thing. He is not a jumper, so little ones would be safe around him, but he has not been kid tested to know for sure.
Archie would do good in a home where he can run around comfortably and can have someone’s love and attention.
If you think Archie could fit into your family,
please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101.
