This is Gen and Cassian!
Gen is a 6-year-old lab/great dane mix that was surrendered to us along with her 2-year-old brother, Cassian, a cane corso/rottie mix.
Gen is a loveable, but independent lady that leads the charge as her brother follows along behind her. She adores her human companions and forms deep bonds with them, but she doesn’t rely on constant affirmation or attention. She’s just as content exploring the world on her own terms, following her instincts wherever they may lead her.
Cassian may be large and somewhat intimidating, but he’s actually a big ol’ baby. Cassian is a gentle soul; his demeanor is characterized by a shy, yet endearing charm. He is a big loveable goofball that adores kisses and cuddles. Once he’s earned your trust, he becomes a devoted companion, offering unwavering affection and companionship.
Gen and Cassian can often be found playing tug-of-war or chase outside in the yard. When they’re not romping around the yard, they can often be found cozying up under a shade tree. Gen is likely to get along with most other dogs, but Cassian seems to have a preference for females.
However, Cassian is attached to Gen at the hip and would likely miss her terribly if they were to be split up. So for this reason, we highly recommend and prefer that they be adopted together, but it is not an absolute requirement.
