Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Wilma…
Wilma arrived at the shelter as a surrender with her sibling Tyre and is 2 years old. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Wilma is a soft hearted, gentle cat who is still learning to feel safe in the shelter environment. As the shyer half of the duo, she can be a bit cautious at first — especially since she only has one eye, which can make sudden movements or new surroundings a little more startling for her.
Despite this, Wilma is quietly brave and determined not to let anything hold her back. Once she realizes she’s in kind and patient hands, her sweet nature begins to shine. She enjoys gentle pets and has a special love for wet food, happily coming forward when she knows a tasty treat is on the way.
With time, patience, and a calm, understanding home, Wilma will continue to come out of her shell and show just how loving she truly is.
