Age 81, Luray, Va.
Nancy Carol Finter Hilliard, 81, of Luray, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on January 30, 1942, and was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Finter and Margaret Virginia Rogers Finter.
On August 11, 1958, Nancy married Edmund Eddie Lee Hilliard, who died on October 18, 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Hilliard and wife Kay, and Scott Hilliard and fiancée Brenda Griffin; four grandchildren, Erica Wood, Lisa Williamson, Denise Silvious-Dellinger and Melisa Moomaw; and six great-grandchildren, Carolina and Jacoby Wood, Grayson Williamson, Tyler Dellinger, and Dawson and Seth Moomaw.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Garland “Bubba” Gochenour.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Fourth Floor, Winchester, VA 22601; and the Luray Volunteer Fire Department, 1 Firehouse Lane, Luray, VA 22835.
