Nancy Lee David Duerr, 86, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on April 21, 1940, in Delaware and was a daughter of the late Edward David and Madlyn Brittingham David.
On September 27, 1958, she married Carl George Duerr Sr., who died on December 14, 2015.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Cindy Hahn and husband Bubba of Luray, and Beth Duerr-Jones of Woodside, DE; a son, Carl George Duerr Jr. of Dover, DE; eight grandchildren, Jason McPherson and wife Jenna of Camden, DE, Robert Jones and wife Heather of Dover, DE, Britney Jones of Dover, DE, Christopher Duerr and wife Sandy of Wilmington, DE, Brian Duerr and wife Veronica of Dover, DE, Stephen Duerr of Dover, DE, Jon Duerr and partner Hank of Dover, DE, and Amy Yun and husband Chris of Chincoteague Island; 13 great-grandchildren, Arianna Jones, Abagale Jones, Kayla Dennis, Melody Dennis, Aubrey Duerr, Jaxx LaFermine, Juliet Duerr, Ava Duerr, Olivia Duerr, Sophia Yun, Eli Yun, Adrian Yun and Ivy Szostkowski; two great-great-grandchildren, Elle and A’zani; a host of nieces and nephews; and numerous friends that are like family.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Stevenson and Shirley Lewis.
Services are planned for a later date.
