Nancy Pullen Judd, 87, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
She was born on August 8, 1936, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Clarence Booten Pullen and Beeley Ann Atkins Pullen.
Nancy had served as vice president of the union at Luray Textile and had worked as a waitress at Brookside Restaurant. After retiring, she dedicated her time to keeping her nephews and granddaughters. She was a lifelong member of the Luray Church of the Brethren.
On October 1, 1961, she married Leon Wayne Judd, who died on February 4, 2018.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Edith Housden and husband Jason T. Housden, and Lora Kellison, all of Luray; two granddaughters, Kelly Cash (Tyler) and Olivia Laing (D.J.), both of Luray; and two great-granddaughters, Scarlett Cash and Cali Laing. She is also survived by Cathy Weaver (Mike), Michael Weaver (Ellen), Ben Weaver and Amanda Weaver, and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Todd Kellison; two sisters, Virginia Margaret Pullen and Annie Lois Pullen; and a brother, Junior Pullen.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 20, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Sherry Waddell. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the funeral home.
