June 15, 1962 — It was a big day for the Shenandoah National Park and the Virginia Sky Line Company last Saturday when the new interchange at the junction of U.S. 211 and the Panorama Restaurant was formally dedicated.
Although the crowd was disappointing, the weather man, the park rangers and all others connected with the event cooperated to the extend that it was probably the most beautiful and impressive exercises seen in this area in many a long day.
