Panthers name Parker head boys basketball coach

SHENANDOAH, June 7 — Page County High School is pleased to announce the hiring of its Varsity Boys Basketball Coach: Tyler Parker.

A 2015 graduate of Page County High School, Coach Parker was a member of the PCHS boys basketball program for six years under Michael Chrisman and Mike Purdham.

Since 2019, Coach Parker has been instrumental in developing the Junior Varsity boys basketball program at Luray High School, leading the team to its first winning season in almost two decades.

During the hiring process, Coach Parker’s passion for all things Page showed through. We look forward to seeing this level of passion and commitment to excellence move Page County boys basketball forward and Coach Parker’s leadership in showing the “Spirit of the Panther” on a nightly basis.

[A meeting was held] for young men and their families who may be interested in playing basketball in rising grades 6 to 12 to meet with Coach Parker and some of his staff in the PCHS auditorium on Monday, June 12.

  1. Great pick. I coached jv boys basketball at luray for two years. Reacreation Park ranger at s White Oac Canyon. Just getting ready for 3 month furlow. I would of loved to help you for free. Have a great season i will go to some of your games and cheer you om.
