July 19, 1958 — Clarence Cubbage has completed the razing of his dwelling on Honeyville Avenue which is one of the oldest houses in the town. According to reports from the older generation, the house was at least 75 years old. Mr. Cubbage has taken the structure down in his spare time from his work and to his surprise much of the lumber is in usable condition.
Mr. and Mrs. Cubbage plan to replace the dwelling with a small ranch type house to be placed about the same spot on this very desirable lot. One item of interest about this old house is that the former boundary line for the town of Stanley, before annexation, ran through the house putting less than half of it into the corporation.
