Patricia Ann Wine Burner, 84, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
She was born on January 23, 1940, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Truman Markwood Wine Sr. and Rada Virginia Seekford Wine.
Patricia was a member of the Luray Church of the Brethren.
On January 6, 1958, Patricia married the love of her life, Maurice Clement Burner, who died on June 3, 2023. They were married 65 glorious and wonderful years, having seven very loving and loyal children.
Patricia is survived by three daughters, Flora Burner Mason of Luray, Julia Burner Cummings (George) of Canada, and Brenda Burner of Luray; four sons, Maurice Burner Jr. (Lisa) of Elkton, Stewart Burner of Stanley, Justin Burner of Luray, and Leslie Burner of Stanley; a sister, Patricia Mongold of Tenth Legion; three brothers, Harry Wine of New Market, Donald Wine of Woodstock, and Roger Wine of New Market; and 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, who all loved and adored their grandmother.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, “Markie” Wine and James Allen Wine.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at the Luray Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Mary Cline Detrick, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray Church of the Brethren.
