Peggy Charolene Fields Glenn, 85, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
She was born on February 24, 1941, in Narrows, VA, and was the daughter of the late Elbert Monroe Fields and Muriel Elizabeth Brookey Fields.
On February 18, 1961, she married Eldridge Millard Glenn Jr., who died on July 18, 2014.
Peggy is survived by two daughters, Diane Buckley and husband Jeff of Stanley, and Kathy Elizabeth Ripper and husband Rob of Stafford; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Kaylor of Winchester; four grandchildren, Madison Reed and husband Logan, Kyle Ripper, Morgan Molina and husband Christopher, and Kasey Ripper; and four great-grandchildren, Oliver Molina, Audrey Reed, Asher Molina and Lane Reed.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert “Bobby” Monroe Fields, Donald Ray Fields and Charles “Dick” Fields.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 1, at Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church in Luray by Pastor Mike Nichols and Pastor Heath Kahlbau, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
