Age 88, Luray, Va.
Phyllis Anne Morrison, 88, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
She was born on May 6, 1935, in Lynchburg and was a daughter of the late Ottie Lovelace Ford and Blanche Etta Ford.
On September 22, 1958, Phyllis married Preston William Morrison.
She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Sutton of Luray; two granddaughters, Candace Orenic (Marshall) of Harrisonburg, and Holly Williams (Chris) of Luray; four great-grandchildren, Ona, Sable and Roman Orenic, and Benjamin Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston William Morrison; three sisters, Helen Hash, Beatrice Kreger and Eunice Wieringo; and two brothers, Ollie Ford and Ernest Ford.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
