July 8, 1908 — The picnic and festival at Hall School House, near Kimball, on the Fourth, was a big success. The money raised — some $50 net — will be used in the purchase of new uniforms for the Pumpkin Hill Band. The band boys desire to return their thanks to one and all — especially to the ladies — for the interest taken by them in all that pertains to the advancement of this organization.
