February 7, 1991 — Members of the VFW Post 621, the Rev. Robert J. Hutson, family and friends of those serving in the Armed Forces in the Persian Gulf, paused for prayer Jan. 29.
Some 30 Page County residents are involved in Operation Desert Storm, which began Jan. 16. However, many have been serving in the Gulf Region since early August. Some 150 persons attended the gathering.
A Desert Storm support group for persons whose families are involved in the Middle East conduct meetings Wednesday evenings at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Luray.
