Property transferred between churches

HISTORY train Luray

November 26, 1964 — The Pentecostal Holiness Church at Shenandoah has acquired the property of the defunct Apostle Free Gospel Mission. The property includes a church and two lots of 250 by 180 feet in the heart of Shenandoah.

Page County Circuit Court this week ordered the property transferred to the Pentecostal Holiness Church after receiving a petition from the surviving members of the Apostle Free Gospel Mission asking for the transfer. Most of the former Apostle Free Gospel Mission members now belong to Pentecostal Holiness.

A new brick church being built behind the old building is scheduled to be completed in the spring. The old church will be torn down.
