LURAY — The Salvation Army still needs volunteer bell ringers from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays through Saturday, Dec. 24.
The annual Red Kettle Campaign is one of the Army’s primary fundraising efforts of the year. Money raised at the WalMart in Luray is used to support the organization’s services provided to the residents of Page County such as Angel Tree, food, clothing and financial assistance.
This summer the Salvation Army also sent three children to a fun-filled week at Camp Happyland.
