Senator Kaine coming to Luray VFW Saturday

LURAY — This Saturday, the Page County Democratic Committee will host U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Luray VFW along Route 211 just east of town.

Senator Kaine will discuss”the 2024 Election cycle and the significant challenges our Democracy faces,” according to literature distributed by the committee.

“The upcoming election year is pivotal, with much at stake in safeguarding our democratic rights, as well as addressing critical issues such as the economy, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and more, all of which are integral to our shared values,” the committee stated.

Attendees will be able to engage with the Senator during his two-hour visit on Saturday, March 9.

There will be guest appearances by candidates for the 6th Congressional District, Rod Grandon and Ken Mitchell. The event is FREE and no reservations are needed.

The Luray VFW Post No. 621 is located at 218 Veterans Lane, Luray, VA 22835.
