STANLEY — Members of the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce will gather at Stanley’s Hawksbill Recreation Park for several combined events on Thursday, Oct. 15.
The annual Tourism Division meeting will kick things off at 4:30 p.m. The Tourism Council will present recent marketing initiatives, information for the next fiscal budget, discuss plans for 2021 and vote on 2021 council members.
The Chamber’s Business After Hours will follow from 5:30 to 7 p.m. hosted by the Town of Stanley. The BAH event will be coupled with the Chamber’s annual business meeting, including a vote for 2021 board members starting at 6:30 p.m. The annual meeting (typically held in early November at the Mimslyn Inn in Luray) was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are asking all of our members that are able, to attend,” read a statement in the Chamber’s recent newsletter. “We need as many members as possible to vote our new Board Members in.”
For those Chamber members unable to attend, they may fill out a Voting by Proxy form.
