Steven Rois Jessee passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA. He was the son of the late Donald R. and Elizabeth Fuller Jessee. He was born in Richlands, Va. on January 28, 1963 and grew up in Grundy, Va.
Steve was a contractor for the federal government for 21 years. His hobbies were motorcycles and restoring old cars. He got the most enjoyment spending time with his grandchildren. He loved giving them rides on his wheelchair.
Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara (Martin) Jessee; two sons, Steven (Bambi) Jessee of Luray, Va. and Christopher (Lacy) Jessee of Stanley, Va.; eight grandchildren, Bobby, Madison, Shena, Afton and Asher Jessee, Kyler Bostic, and Aubrey and Aivyn Price; three sisters, Connie (Mike) Mullins of Rural Retreat, Va., Donna Evans of New Bern, N.C. and Pam (Ralph) Sours of Luray, Va.; three nephews, Timothey Bailey of Luray, Va., Matthew Bailey of Fall Branch, Tenn. and Cody Sours of Front Royal, Va.; three nieces, Courtney Suthers of Rural Retreat, Va., Amy Evans of Capon Bridge, W.Va. and Emily Evans of Catonsville. Md.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceeded in death by two grandchildren, Liam Christopher Martin Jessee (2010) and Raelyn Aubree Martin Jessee (2011), and his father-in-law, Frank Martin (2010) and mother-in-law, Mavis Martin (2020).
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice in his memory.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
