Thanks for information on ‘Shenandoah’ film

Letter

Dear Editor,

Thank you so much for the story about the new film, “Shenandoah”, which we had heard about first from this [PVN] newsletter [sent biweekly through email to those who sign up]. WOW! It’s gorgeous!

I lived here from 1948 or 1949 until 1960, when I graduated from Shenandoah High School. Then I went onto the College of William & Mary in 1960, stayed in Williamsburg after graduation for a year to teach, then off to D.C. for about 12 years until I moved to Oakland, CA for a graduate program in spirituality. Then back to Shenandoah two years ago to get family support for my husband’s illness.

My husband, who grew up in Boston, Mass., loves it here! I can hardly wait to pass the link to the film to family and friends who may never get here in person, but the film does a great job of showing why so many of us  love the mountains here.

Wow and thank you!

Pat McHenry Sullivan ~ Shenandoah, Va.
