LURAY, May 6 — The Page County Panthers are on a 10-game winning streak in softball, and sophomore Danica Turner has been a key part of the offensive power that has allowed the Panthers to outscore their opponents 135-45 through 16 games.

Turner went 3-for-4 in a key Bull Run District win over Clarke on Thursday with a triple, two singles and an RBI. The Panthers collected 11 hits en route to a narrow 7-6 win that went down to the final out.

Page County (8-1, 13-3) sits in second place in the Bull Run, with its only district loss coming to No. 1 Central, 6-4, at home on April 2.
