Weekly YouTube show dives into various issues, sites and events in the Page Valley
By Randy Arrington
LURAY, Aug. 27 — This week we sit down with Taylor Alger, Andrea Goode and John Winslow to talk about the upcoming third annual Recovery Walk set for Saturday, Sept. 6 at Ruffner Plaza in Downtown Luray. Participants will walk up Main Street from the Mechanic Street parking lot along the Hawksbill Greenway up to the courthouse and then down to Ruffner Plaza, where resources and information on addiction and recovery will be available, along with live music and food. Not only does the discussion lay out details for the event, but it also talks about the recent “movement” in our community to bring together various resources for recovery.
(Page Valley Livin’ ~ Episode 83 was recorded Monday, Aug. 25, and aired Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025).
Coming up on Page Valley Livin’… we’ll be visiting the sixth annual Page Valley Sunflower Festival and bringing you some sights and sounds from the one-day event at Ralph Dean Park.
The aim and purpose of these videos is to provide more information about more things that make up the wonderful place we call the Page Valley of Virginia. Serious issues will be handled seriously, while lighter issues may offer more opportunity to have some fun. There is no theme or agenda other than promoting the Page Valley, and trying to better inform the people who both live here and those who love to visit.
