Age 96, Luray, Va.
Virginia Betty Sallade Anderson, 96, of Luray, died on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1924, in Aliquippa, Pa., and was a daughter of the late Byron Howard Sallade and Laverna Miriam Bartlett Sallade.
On Feb. 14, 1942, she married Howard Earl Anderson, who died on April 9, 1999.
She is survived by four daughters, Miriam R. Brubaker, Casandra A. Cooper, Jennifer K.Richmond, and Yvonne Johnson Berezoski of Luray; two sons, Byron A. and Howard E. Anderson, both of Luray; a brother, Ronald Sallade of Staunton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are in the caring hands of The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
