21 local athletes earn All-District, All-Region honors for spring sports

LHS senior Emilee Weakley was selected as the Player of the Year in girls soccer for both the Bull Run District and Region B.

LURAY — After a winter full of accolades during the basketball season, Luray High School senior Emilee Weakley claimed top honors in the spring as well. The senior forward on the LHS girls soccer team earned Player of the Year honors in both the Bull Run District and Region B.

A total of 21 local athletes received either first team or second team mention among the All-District and All-Region selections announced over the past two weeks for spring sports. Those honorees include:
