July 2, 1964 — Two Page County 4-H’ers were inducted Thursday night with the State’s Exclusive Club for outstanding 4-H members in Virginia — The All-Star Association.
Monica Dawn Foltz and Bruce Stanley Short were tapped for membership Thursday afternoon on the VPI Campus.
A banquet to honor all the newly inducted All-Stars was held in the Coral Room in Owens Hall Thursday evening.
Monica, known as “Neekie,” is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Dale Foltz of the Grove Hill section, and Bruce is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Short of Alma.
Both are 1964 graduates of Page County High School and are members of the Grove Hill Senior 4-H Club.
