4-H summer camp kick-off registration day April 3

Registration packets may be picked up early; campers ages 8-14

STANLEY — Summer is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time for 4-H Camp. The Frederick-Page 4-H Summer Camp will be held June 29- July 3. Join the week of fun in Front Royal at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center, an American Camping Association accredited facility.

The overnight junior 4-H Camp offers hands-on learning experiences and allows youth to build lifelong friendships under the supervision of trained staff, adult volunteers and teen counselors.

Campers may choose from a wide variety of classes such as canoeing, high ropes, archery, swimming, tie dye, fishing, wacky science, campfire cooking and much, much more. Campers will enjoy classes, pool and recreation time, group games and activities and campfire each day.

4-H Camp is open to all youth that are at least age 9 as of September 30, 2025 and have not reached the age of 14 as of January 1, 2025. The cost for the week of camp is $330, which includes meals, lodging, all activities, and a t-shirt.

Our kick-off registration day is Thursday, April 3 from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Extension Office at 215 West Main Street, Suite C in Stanley. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Email 4-H Agent, Meagan Dyer at meg21@vt.edu or call the Extension Office at 540-778-5794 to request a camper registration packet or find out more about camp. It is encouraged to complete your registration forms with your camper prior to registration day, however, completed registration packets will not be accepted before noon on April 3.
