Age 69, Stanley, Va.
Alvin Wayne Lucas, 69, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at his residence.
He was born on December 5, 1953, in Stanley, and was a son of the late Albert Franklin Lucas and Loveina Dallas Lucas.
Surviving are two brothers, Vincent and Orville Lucas, all of Stanley; and a sister, Wanda Dean of Shenandoah.
He is also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Franklin Lucas
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, at the Leak’s Chapel Church in Stanley by Pastor Charles Clindinst, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Leaks Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
