Nationwide 86 nonprofits received more than $1.2 million in spring 2026
LURAY — The Andersen Corporate Foundation recently announced more than $1.2 million in spring 2026 grants to 86 nonprofits nationwide focused on housing, hunger relief, education, and workforce development. Significant investments will help expand construction and manufacturing workforce training programs while supporting critical community needs.
In Luray, grant recommendations are made by a committee of local Andersen employees, ensuring funding addresses priorities identified within the community. This year’s local recipients include:
• Shen-Paco Industries, Inc. – $10,000 to support day, residential, and life-skills programs for adults with disabilities.
• Blue Ridge CASA for Children – $10,000 to support volunteer advocates helping abused and neglected children achieve safe, stable homes.
• Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging (Seniors First) – $5,000 to support congregate and home-delivered meals, wellness checks, and social connection for older adults.
Established in 1941, the Andersen Corporate Foundation works to strengthen communities where Andersen employees live and work and has contributed more than $75 million to housing, hunger relief, and education initiatives.
