Barbara Elaine Lucas, 76, of Stanley, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1944, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Malcolm Barb and Gladys Marie Pence Barb Hauser.
Barbara was a member of the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church.
On June 1, 1985, she married Earl Junior Lucas, who died on July 28, 2002.
She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Short and husband Tommy of Stanley, Cindy Miller and husband Dennis of Tennessee, and Leanne Besmer and husband Dustin of Nebraska; and two sons, Scott Pohlman and wife Sherri of Nebraska, and Jimmy Lucas of Shenandoah. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Tonya, Ryan, Kayla, Sara, Andrew, Nathan, Melissa, Dalton and Kasper; and 5 great-grandchildren: Jaydin, Hunter, Jackson, Willow and Ariel.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcolm Edward and Clarence William Barb; and a sister, Gloria Mooneyham.
A memorial service was conducted at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church by Pastor Jack Campbell and Pastor Jeff Lucas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church.
Arrangements are pending with the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
