Age 93, Luray, Va.
Betty Jean Sours, 93, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on April 29, 1933, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Stanley Sabala and Edna Marie Wilson Phillips.
On February 20, 1953, she married Forrest Allen “Dick” Sours, who died on March 16, 2007.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Greco of Luray, and Robin Faucette of Colorado; a son, Wayne Sours of Stanley; three sisters, Mary Lou Short of Manassas, Nancy Short of Strasburg, and Sally Dovel of Charlottesville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas Sours and Jerry Sours; and a daughter, Teresa Sours.
Services are planned for a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Page County SPCA.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
