Betty Louise Blair Smith, 88, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 28, 1935, in Middletown, Maryland, and was a daughter of the late Bertha and Joseph Blair. She was raised by her grandmother, Florence Blair.
Betty was married to Robert Lee Smith Sr., who passed away on July 9, 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Cook of Bridgewater; two sons, Donald Smith of Luray, and Perry Lawson (Cathy) of New Market, Maryland; a stepson, Randall Smith (Susan) of Middletown, Maryland; a son-in-law, Danny Cook; a daughter-in-law, Sabrina Green; 14 grandchildren, Gregory, Tasha, Bobby, Gizmo, Brian, Katie, Tyler, Keith, David, Danny, Robert, Chip, Missy and Josh; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Smith Jr.; a stepdaughter, Phyliss Rentzell; and a granddaughter, Wendy Smith.
Betty loved to dance and fed every animal that she came in contact with.
Betty will be cremated and her ashes buried at a later date in Rileyville Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
